Heather M. Brown’s journey into the world of vacation rentals began unexpectedly in 2018, emerging from the ashes of a devastating flood that reshaped lives. Settling in Salt Lake City, she immersed themselves in the industry, acquiring skills and expertise while working for a renowned vacation rental company in Park City.

Undeterred by the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Heather played a pivotal role in steering the company through turbulent times. Fueled by their resilience, Heather founded StayLuxe Properties, Inc. in 2020 alongside Beau.

Heather, now the CEO, and Beau, the Guest Services Ambassador, have transformed StayLuxe into a “limited edition” vacation rental management company, renowned for exceptional hospitality and unparalleled experiences.

When COVID-19 led to eviction moratoriums, Stacey pivoted from long-term to short-term rentals, igniting her passion for this dynamic strategy. In just over a year, she acquired and transformed eight beachfront properties, achieving remarkable cash-on-cash returns.

Today, as the proud owner and manager of a multi-7-figure short-term rental investment portfolio, she stands as a testament to strategic success even amidst global challenges.
Now, she’s on a mission to share her success, providing education through 1-to-1 consulting, group coaching, live events, and online courses.

As the founder of the Female Short-Term Rental Investors Facebook group and The Short-Term Rental Society, Stacey fosters a community for hosts and vendors. Her boutique property management firm, Kozy Getaways, offers a hands-free approach to STR investment.

Fausto Vieira da Silva,
Strategic Partnerships Lead, PriceLabs

Fausto Vieira da Silva works for PriceLabs and serves as Strategic Partnerships Lead. Before joining PriceLabs, Fausto was a Revenue & Distribution Manager for Lifeafar, a property management company based out of Colombia, where he oversaw the revenue and distribution strategy as well as managing the reservations team.

Fausto is originally from Portugal where he studied tourism management and started his way in the tourism industry working with tour operators and events before understanding that his passion was the STR industry.

He’s the founder of Rental Scale-Up, a short-term rental news, analysis, and consulting business that was recently acquired by vacation rental dynamic pricing tool provider PriceLabs, where he continues on as the Head of Product Marketing.
