Airbnb went through the most frequently used hashtags and buzzwords on TikTok pertaining to home interiors and decoration. Then, Airbnb looked up how many of its listings were matching these trends.
Trend #1: Cottagecore
Cottagecore is a style of decoration that combines the simplicity and functionality of cottage-style furniture with the cutting-edge design found in modern pieces. This creates cozy but stylish spaces for relaxation and entertainment.
