TikTok videos reveal quirky Airbnb listings and 2022 décor trends

airbnb vs tiktok

If you are an Airbnb host, you need to know how influential TikTok has become: Some guests use it to share Airbnb horror stories, quirky listings (e.g. the one whose window opens onto a restaurant table), and shocking host behaviors (e.g. the control-freak Airbnb host with over-detailed instructions). TikTok is also a source of trends and data: Airbnb itself has just released a décor trend report where it checks how many of its listings are using interior decoration buzzwords that are popular on TikTok, such as Cottagecore, Grandmillenial, and Botanical.
