For the 4th year in a row, I will be attending a conference aimed at ambitious property owners and fast-growing property managers. Will I see you there, near Lake Como, Italy, on October 5 and 6, at the 2019 Vacation Rental World Summit?
The Vacation Rental World Summit is the brainchild of the Italian property owner and educator Antonio Bortolotti. I am completely biased when it comes to talking about this event, as I’ve known Antonio since 2014 and was part of my own original mentors when I got serious about growing my vacation rental revenues.

My review of the previous Vacation Rental World Summits
I actually watched and wrote about the 2015 online version of the Vacation Rental Summit, about the first physical edition in Barcelona (Vacation Rental World Summit 2016 article) where I presented on the topic of Facebook retargeting for vacation rentals, and about the 2017 edition in Florence where I talked about Vacation Rental Marketing: How to conduct fast, fun and efficient user research. In 2018, I was there too, on stage as a member of a panel about the future of big OTAs.
As you can see topics are all about vacation and short-term rentals, but are also varied and actionable. The big point about the conference is that you get to hang out with fellow owners and property managers, with people from Airbnb, HomeAway / vrbo and Booking.com, with industry experts and other cool people.
This networking, warm ambiance and willingness to help one another is why you should come too. Did I tell you that the conference venue was a splendid Italian theater?
I hope to see you at the 2019 Vacation Rental World Summit 😉
