At Rental Scale-Up, our previous article on Airbnb’s Help Ukraine initiative generated a lot of contacts from hosts as well from vacation and short-term rental companies also offering help. If you want to host Ukrainian refugees, offer accommodation, or just donate, you will find here established vetted companies. Airbnb.org Help Ukraine
Host refugees in Europe, especially near the Ukrainian border. You list your place and then on-the-ground non-government organizations vet refugee requests. You can review the requests (no instant booking). You can offer it for free or for a reduced price: airbnb.org/help-ukraine (you can also read our how-to page to see how it works before committing).

HomeToGo’s Ukraine Relief pages provide resources for those looking for shelter, those who can offer temporary housing & those who have additional resources to offer. HomeTogo lists all kinds vetted resources, even from competitors (e.g. Airbnb.org is listed).

Hopper (travel credit for hotel rooms and rental homes)
Hopper is funding $50,000 USD in total to individuals who are leaving Ukraine and require temporary accommodations in neighboring countries and throughout Europe. If you are a refugee looking for accommodation assistance, please fill out this intake form on the Hopper website. You need first to download the Hopper app, create an account, and then indicate your account number in the form. Once verified, Hopper will add $150 USD to each customer’s account in the form of Carrot Cash. This can be used to book a hotel or rental home directly in the app.

Booking.com’s Ukraine Refugee Rate
Booking allows its partners in countries near Ukraine to offer free stays or discounted rates. These partners can create a Ukraine Refugee Rate and apply it to their property.
TouchStay (support Humanitarian Assistance)
TouchStay asked them Ukrainian tech team on how to best help. Their response: Please support the “Humanitarian Assistance to Ukrainians Affected by Russia’s Aggression”. It’s an account opened by The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) for charitable contributions to help Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression. TouchStay.com/Ukraine
StayBillety (with UNICEF Children of Ukraine)
StayBillety supports the people of the Ukraine. All platform fees from bookings using the Affiliate Code UKRAINE will go to UNICEF’s Children of Ukraine program.

Right now thousands of refugees with residence permits are waiting in Asylum Seekers’ Centres for permanent accommodation. Takecarebnb enables them to temporarily stay with a host family.

RoomForUkraine is a private voluntary initiative matching refugees seeking shelter with kind people willing to open their homes for them.
Hospitality Jobs
Sani/Ikos Group is offering jobs and free accommodation with the same conditions and wages of their Greek colleagues to 300 Ukrainians.
Tech hospitality jobs
Jobrack.eu is a great platform for Ukrainian freelancers and tech people to find short and long-term jobs. Many short-term rental companies have staff in Ukraine. Other companies can think about providing jobs to displaced workers who need to send funds to their families (at decent wages for them, obviously)
